It is with very sad hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother Greta Munn of Lincoln, NB, at the age of 86, at home after a brief illness. Born in McNamee, NB, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Beatrice Arsenault, and wife of the late Burton Munn. Greta was raised in Priceville by her grandparents Henry & May Price, whom she called Mommy and Daddy.

In earlier years, Greta operated her own restaurant in Lincoln. As well as being a great cook and baker, she also enjoyed making dozens of bottles of jams, jellies, and pickles. She was an avid Wednesday night bingo player in Lincoln.

Greta was the mother of 8 children, and many chosen children who came into her care. She is survived by her children Gerald (Judy), Robert (Annette), Alvin (Anita), Marilyn (Gary), James (Susan), Buddy (Mary-Anne), Lloyd (Cheryl); brother John of Toronto and daughter-in-law Jo-Anne Munn; 25 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; sister-in-law Shirley (Stan) Finnie. She was also predeceased by her son Richard and brother Larry Arseneau; chosen brother Claude Price and sister Irene Crouse.

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 5, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Lincoln Baptist Church 2275 Route 102 Lincoln, NB. The funeral service will be held at the church on Friday April 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Ranni officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations to the SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family. Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton have been entrusted with the arrangements.
