It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father Kirk Douglas Cusack at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB on Thursday March 29, 2018 at the age of 63. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Ernest and Theresa (Doherty) Cusack. Kirk spent over 20 years employed with the City of Fredericton in the Roads & Streets department. Kirk enjoyed making others smile and spending time with family. He was an avid golfer, loved playing baseball, fishing and enjoyed Nascar.

He is survived by his three children, Angela Cusack of Calgary, AB, Jeffery Cusack of Fredericton, Kimberley Pinsent (Zack) of Oromocto, NB; three grandchildren that filled his days with laughter and love and will miss him deeply; Bryson Cusack, Aden Pinsent and Payton Pinsent; siblings Ernie Cusack (Gail) of Rusagonis, Andy Cusack of Fredericton, Bobby Cusack (Marilyn) of Fredericton, Brenda Porter (Doug) of Fredericton, Janice Breton (John) of Fredericton, Margaret Sutton (Paul) of Fredericton, Cora-Lynn Colford (Michael) of Boiestown, Beverley Michaud (Jeff) of Fredericton; an aunt Mary Barrett; several loved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as cousins; a special friend Brent Dickerson. He was also predeceased by a sister-in-law Anne Cusack.

The family will receive friends at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at which time there will be a memorial service with Rev. Karl Csaszar officiating, there will be a reception to follow.

The family will forever be grateful and extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the incredible caring staff of Hanwell Special Care Home; and to the nurses and doctors of 4NW for the excellent care and attention given to Kirk Cusack over the years.  Memorial donations to the NB Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
