The passing of Peter "Pete" Dale McMinniman, beloved husband of Faye (Rickard) McMinniman of Noonan, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Pete was 66.

Born June 8, 1951 in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Donald Frank and Dorothy Kathleen (Tapley) McMinniman. Pete was a loyal and dedicated Truck Driver for McMinniman Transfer Ltd. for many years and prior to his retirement was employed as a Truck Driver with Sunbury Transport. Peter attended Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church.

Peter is survived by the love of his life, Faye; two sons, Kirk (Mindy) of Noonan and Mark (Dianna) of Saint John. His 4 grandchildren, Savannah, Kade, Tori and Colby always held a special place in his heart as did his great-grandson Gage. Pete is also survived by 3 brothers, Carl (Jessie), David (Susan) and Wayne (Donna) all of Fredericton: 3 sisters, Myrna Henry (Alton), Jill Kierstead (Carl) and Kathy Baird (Dennis) all of Fredericton; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by a cherished granddaughter Shayelyn (1999); brothers, Brian and George; sisters, Joan and Mary.

Pete also leaves behind a host of treasured friends. The family wish to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Sheldon Wood and his team, Extra Mural and the Doctors, nurses, and staff at the Chalmers Hospital for the excellent care Pete received.

Visitation will take place at Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church, 55 Corbett Ave., Fredericton on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM and from where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:30 PM with Pastor Troy McKnight officiating. A private committal service will be held in the Sunny Bank Cemetery later. For those who wish to remember Pete by way of a memorial contribution, donations to the Corbett Ave. Wesleyan Church, Chalmers Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or to a favorite charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
