"A beautiful soul is never forgotten." In Romans 8:18, it says, "the pain that you’ve been feeling, can’t compare to the joy that’s coming," and for one Fredericton resident that joy met her on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Evelyn "Lynn" Lydia Davidson, 86, courageously completed her earthly journey in the early morning hours at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Lynn was a powerful woman of faith who loved and served her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with all her heart and was an unbelievable example of what a person should be. She walked out her faith in the most gracious manner.

Born in Fredericton, NB on October 27, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Helen (Davidson) Nightingale. Lynn was a much loved and well respected LPN and dedicated her nursing skills of caring and love to many while working as a "phlebotomist"at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

A much loved and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lynn leaves behind her two adored daughters, Geraldine "Geri" McFadzen (John) and Dixie Lynn McFadzen both of Fredericton. Because grandmothers are such a source of joy for their grandchildren, Lynn will be sorely missed by her three amazing grandchildren, Melanie McFadzen, Leah Hunt and David McFadzen. Her wonderful and precious great-grandchildren, Caylen, Ryan, Sydney, Andon, Johnny, Evan, Cameron and Elsie Lynn always held a very special place in her heart. Also surviving is a sister Shirley Steele (Don); nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, brothers Wayne and Estwood and a sister Leola Kennedy also predeceased her.

Respecting Lynn’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service or visitation. A private interment will be held at a later date. No flowers please, an act of kindness in Lynn’s memory or a memorial contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

The family will forever be grateful and extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the incredible and caring staff of 3East for the excellent care and attention Lynn received while a patient there.
