It is with great sadness that the family of Roberta Adeline Rayner announces her passing at Frederick Hall, Shannex, in Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.  She was 90 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Myrtle Hanson and Charles Stilwell. 

Roberta was a retired credit-manager for Gamble Fuels Ltd.  She also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary Branch #4 Royal Canadian Legion.

She is survived by her loving partner of 30 years, Charles Russell; her children, Gloria Rayner-Monteith of Shediac River, Linda Rayner of Beaverdam, Sheila Rayner of Barkers Point, John Rayner of Fredericton, and Kevin Rayner of Lincoln; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 6-8 PM. The Ladies Auxiliary Branch #4 will have a tribute service at 6:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11 AM from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Robert McGougin officiating.  Interment will take place in Bear Island, NB at a later date.

For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the World Wildlife Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
