It’s with great sadness that the family of Earl Laroy Bailey of Fredericton announce his passing at the York Care Center on Saturday, March 10, 2018. He was 89.

Born in South Devon, NB on January 6, 1929 he was the son of the late Cecil L Bailey & Greta Morehouse Bailey.

He is survived by his four children: Richard Bailey (Kim), Eva Allen (Dennis), Patricia Hodgson (Claudie) & Vernon Hodgson, five grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren, soon to be eight, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Predeceased by one daughter, Shirley Hodgson, the love of his life and mother of his four children Doris Hodgson Cole, one grandson Benjamin Collins, two brothers and one sister.

Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, where visitation will be held on Friday, March 16th from 12 noon until 2pm at which time a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Duane Collicott officiating. Interment will be held in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, the family has suggested memorial donations to a charity of the donor’s choice.
