The passing of Aloysius "Al" Maher of Napadogan, NB, husband of the late Gail Anne (Dorcas) Maher, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, on Friday March 9, 2018.

Born in Seal Cove, NF, on January 7, 1938, he was a son of the late John and Clara (Benoit) Maher

Prior to his retirement, Al was a Track Foreman with C.N.R. for 28 years. He was a member of the Stanley Curling Club and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and watching hockey. Al always kept himself occupied and loved to keep his hands busy doing odd jobs.

Al leaves behind a son Joey Maher (Wanda Wilson-Maher) of Maple Grove, NB and a daughter, Wanda Maher-Clark (Richie) of Williamsburg, NB; three grandchildren, Tamara, Nathan and Alyssa; a number of brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or funeral service at Al’s request. Interment will be private and at a later date.
