On Sunday, March 4, 2018 David (Dave) Allen Johnston, formerly of Fredericton, completed his earthly journey at the age of 54. Dave was a resident of Wauklehegan Manor in McAdam, NB at the time of his passing.

Born in Perth-Andover, NB on May 30, 1963, he was a son of the late O’Clinton L. and Mae V. (Spencer) Johnston.

Dave was a former Taxi Driver and Dispatcher and at one time ran his own Taxi business. An avid outdoors person, his favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing.

Dave leaves behind his five children, Michael Johnston, Tina Henderson, Dean Stafford (Samantha), Jessica Johnston and Andrew Johnston; several grandchildren; his former partner Wendy Boone; brothers Jerry, Billy and Ronnie (Connie); sisters Lorna (Dwayne) and Pam; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Ashley Lynn Stafford; stepfather Wally Nash; a brother Randy Johnston; a sister Sharon Arbeau and a sister-in-law Paulette Coughlan.

Visitation for Dave will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 6-8 PM and from where the funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 13 at 11:00 AM in Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment later. Memorials contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
