It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ernestine Brooks announces her passing on March 4, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Catholic by faith and a retired teacher, she is survived by her children; Linda (Bart) of British Columbia, Frank Brooks (Lorraine) of St. Mary’s, Randy Brooks (Sheila) of St. Mary’s, Dorothy Hanson (John) St. Mary’s, Alice Paul of St. Mary’s, Mark Brooks Jr of St. Mary’s, Sandra Adamen St. Mary’s, Tom Brooks (Phyllis) St. Mary’s, William Brooks (Stella) St. Mary’s, Cecil Brooks (Laurie) St. Mary’s, Ida Henry (Daniel) St. Mary’s, Arnold Brooks, St. Mary’s, Richard Brooks (Jeanie) St. Mary’s, Walter Brooks (Barb) St. Mary’s, Patrick Brooks (Barb) St. Mary’s, Dion Brooks (Heather) Fredericton, Dana Brooks (Willa) of Fredericton, Toby Brooks (April) of Fredericton, Cindy Brooks (Sheldon) of St. Mary’s, Billy Brooks (Jeannie) of St. Mary’s, several grand and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Mark Albert Brooks.
Resting at 80 Maliseet Drive, St. Mary’s First Nation where visitation will take place on Wednesday and Thursday all day March 7th and 8th. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 9th, 2018 at 3 PM at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Anthony’s Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations in Mary’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick.
