At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday March 3, 2018, Theresa Elizabeth "Betty" Noseworthy of Fredericton, NB passed away at the age of 73. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Amelia (LeBlanc) Waycott. She loved to volunteer with different organizations, helping people in various capacities, and won a Volunteer of the Year award for New Brunswick for her work with the CNIB.

She is survived by her husband Jim Noseworthy; three daughters Wendy Bowden of Calgary, AB, Laura Thompson (Richard) of Dipper Harbour, Terri Joseph (Curtis Beddow) of Saint John; one son Joshua Noseworthy of Fredericton; twelve grandchildren Amy, Matthew, Michael, Scott, Brian, Natalie, Megan, Rebekah, Aaron, Joseph, Courtney and Cameron; eight great-grandchildren Isabella, Isla and Ella, James, Max, Hazel, Olivia and Lincoln; two brothers Walter Waycott of Grand Manan, NB and Douglas Waycott (Elsie) of Maces Bay, NB; two sisters Leona Enkel (Bruce) of Maces Bay, NB and Jean Virginillo (Mike) of Vancouver, BC; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by two brothers Noel and Paul Waycott; 2 sisters Martha Milton and Phyllis Prince.

The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Thursday March 8, 2018 from 2-6 pm. The funeral service will be held Friday March 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Marysville Baptist Church, 150 Cowperthwaite St., Fredericton with Rev. Eric Vautour officiating. Burial will be in Maces Bay, NB, at a later date. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
