It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Coburn Burpee of Fredericton on February 4th, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.  He was 82.  Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late John Wallace and Nancy Elmira (Hildebrand) Burpee.

Catholic by faith, Ron worked in the Dairy Industry and was also an avid Gardiner and member of the Knights of Columbus.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Thelma (Wilson) Burpee, two children Kathleen Burpee (Marco Levesque) of Fredericton, Michael Burpee of Moncton, and family friend Sue Cormier, five grandchildren; Emily, Lance, Leicia, Kyle and Myka, one sister Carol Fletcher of Fredericton, four sisters in laws, Geraldine Cornford, Carolyn O’Rourke, Colleen Thornton and Bonnie Wilson as well as various nieces and nephews.

Bedsides his parents, Ron was predeceased by seven brothers in law, Paul Fletcher, Gordon Cornford, Michael O’Rourke, Martin Wilson, Bruce Wilson, William Wilson, and Ted Thornton.

There will be no visitation or formal funeral service at the family’s request. Interment will be held at a later date.
