Roland A "Rollie" Stephens of Fredericton passed away on January 28th, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Barker’s Point. He was a son of the late Arnold and Eunice (Murray) Stephens.
Roland worked for many years with Canada Post and Checker Cab.
He will be deeply missed by his special friend and companion Rosemary "Patsy" Clark, 3 children; Mary Jane, Diane, and Bryan, 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Helen (Brooks) Stephens, son Robert and brother David.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, on Wednesday January 31st, 2018 from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday February 1st at 2 PM with Rev. Eugene Munn officiating. Interment will be in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.
To the rest of the Clark family, it was an honour and pleasure to have known Roland. He was a gentleman. We’ll miss him. Stephen, Randy, Annette, Matthew, Isabella and the kids.
