Peacefully at her home in Marysville, Marguerite Lillian Lovely passed away on January 15, 2018 at the age of 55. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of Jane (Brewer) Porter and the late Gerald Porter and wife of the late Myles George Lovely. She was an avid bingo player who also loved to cook for everyone she knew. Marguerite took many children under her wing and cared for them, be it a bed, a meal or motherly advice. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.

Marguerite is survived by her children Mindy Lovely (Brandon Yeo) of Keswick Ridge, Matthew Lovely (Trish) of Fredericton, Michael Burden (Kendra) of Fredericton, Misty Lovely (Rob Knorr) of Hoyt, Joshua Burden of Fredericton; grandchildren Tyson Lovely, Braden Lovely, Jackson Yeo Lovely, Lily Dawn Yeo Lovely, Alexia Lovely, Alyssa Howe, Colby Howe, Jordan Burden, Lucas Holloway, Kaelynn Jones; siblings Susan Norton (Albert) of Fredericton, Debra Brewer (Allison) of Zealand, Diane Porter of Fredericton, Carolyn Mahar (Edward) of Fredericton, David Porter (Marion) of Fredericton, Basil Porter of Fredericton, Pat Porter of Fredericton, Marlene Lovely of Fredericton, Peter Casey (Donna) of Fredericton, Sue Casey of Fredericton, Cecilia Sangster of Fredericton, Patsy Hayes of Fredericton; aunts Elizabeth Porter and Sharon Porter (Dick), Ruby Anderson; nephews Terry Lovely Jr. and Marvin Hayes Jr., nieces Angela Casey and Cecilia Hayes; several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her father and husband, Marguerite was predeceased by her daughter Amanda Lovely; sister-in-law Trudy Bellhumer and brother-in-law Terry Lovely.

Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road with visitation Thursday evening from 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 & 7-9. The funeral service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home on Saturday January 20, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Rev. George Clark Sr. officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
