It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Rae Lee of Newcastle Creek, NB, announce her passing on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born in Fredericton on May 21, 1974 she was the daughter of Sylvia (Nash) Sacobie and the late Raymond Sacobie.
Susan was employed as a Dental Assistant for a number of years but most recently she will be remembered as a much-loved waitress at Wolastoq Wharf Restaurant in Fredericton. Susan was a member of St. Mary’s First Nation.
Susan loved horses and was an avid horseback rider. She was a member and actively involved with the Carriage Hill Equestrian Centre.
Susan is survived by her mother Sylvia; two daughters Emilie Gray and Mullen Kempster; grandson, Avery Bostick; brother, Mike Sacobie and her former husband, David Lee; niece, Ivy Sacobie and nephews, Daniel Thistle and Jessie DeWitt.. Susan always had a special love in her heart for all animals especially for her feline companion, Ranger and her three canine companions, Sunny, Curlee and Baxter.
Aside from her father, Susan was predeceased by her brother, Philip Sacobie.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Thursday November 30th, 2017 from 12 noon until 2 PM at which time a memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
