It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Elaine Fraser of Lake George, NB, on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton at the age of 71. Born in Fredericton, she was an only child of the late Albert and Hilda (MacLean) Gilks.
Sharon was employed as a seamstress at Kings Landing for over 33 years. She was a member of the Lake George Mad Hatters, enjoyed travelling and camping and had a great love for dogs and cats.
She is survived by her children Kelly Lynds (Michael), Pam Gilmar (Lyle) Derrick Crain (Sandra), Katrina Landry (Alfred), Michelle Patterson (Richard), daughter-in-law Sandy Fraser; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her best friend Dexter. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her 1st husband Donnie Masson; her 2nd husband Kenneth Fraser; 2 sons Kevin and Darrell.
Honouring Sharon’s wishes, following cremation a visitation will be held on Friday November 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Upper Kingsclear Baptist Church, 15 Mazerolle Settlement Road, Upper Kingsclear, NB. A private interment will be held at a later date. Contributions to the Oromocto SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
