It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Bayard Ferris of Fredericton NB, on Monday, November 6, 2017, at the Saint John Regional Hospital with family by his side. He was 66. Born in Saint John NB, he was a son of Eileen (Francis) Ferris and the Late Albert Ferris.
Peter will be deeply missed by his children; Megan Spink (Travis), Ryan (Lindsay) and Janelle (David), grandchildren; Lucy and Jacob, a brother Tom (Lucinda) and a sister Lisa (Walter), 3 nephews, Dustin, Donnie, and Christopher as well as several cousins and the many close friends he made over the years.
Peter had many loves, especially his family and friends. Peter was an amazing father, incredibly loyal friend, and a lover of music. Peter was often found at music circles across the province playing his guitar and singing his favourite John Prine songs. He also loved fishing and spending time at the woodlot with his many friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday November 9th, 2017 from 6-9 PM at Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton. A memorial service will be held on Friday November 10th at 2 PM from the Funeral Home Chapel with Peter Thomas officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
