The passing of Mark Douglas Hayward of Moncton, NB occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the age of 59. Born in Fredericton on August 30, 1958, he was a son of Harry H. Hayward Jr. and the late Mary Ann T. (Young) Hayward.

A carpenter by trade, he was self-employed but also worked for various employers. Mark enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.

Mark is survived by his father, Harry Jr. of Nasonworth; a sister, Angela Charters (Dave) and a brother, Keith Hayward (Gwen) both of Saint John, NB; nieces and nephews, Chris, Charnele, Bradley, Sharon and Islay; 2 great nieces, Hope and Kali; several aunts and uncles.

Mark was predeceased by his mother Mary Ann in 1998.

There will be no visitation by request of the family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton. Father Martin Arputham will officiate. Interment will be private.
