It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Angella M. Green, with her family by her side, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the age of 84. Born in Bathurst, NB,on Dec. 7, 1932. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Green and the daughter of the late Joseph and Martina (Boudreau) Chamberlain. 

Angella is survived by: Ronald (Judy) of Hanwell, Suzanne Green (Roy) of Fredericton, Stephen (Rosemary) of Miramichi, Brian (Joanne) of Fredericton, Terry (Paula) of Oshawa, Ontario, and Paul (Shelley) of Oshawa, Ontario; Grandchildren: Jennifer and Danielle Green, Julie, Megan and Nicole MacDonald, Amanda Dempsey (Mason), Billy and Stephen Green, April Savoie (Denis), Courtney St. Jules, Andrea Coughlan, Natasha Green, Jessica Anderson-Green; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Marion Ingraham (Robert) and Debbie McCoy (Dwight) and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Angella was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was affectionately referred to as "The Baby".  She loved life and was the happiest when surrounded by her family, especially when all got together at Christmas. She was also happy when friends would visit, especially her special friend (adopted daughter), Ruth Curtis.  Prior to getting married, she taught school in Bathurst. Although she left teaching to be a stay at  home Mom, she kept in contact with the Class of 1951 (Fredericton Normal School) through several reunions. After devoting her life to her family, Angella was employed by the NBLC for 16 years until her retirement in 1997.

Aside from her husband and parents Angella was predeceased by her daughter, Janice Mitchell (Gary); 2 sons, Gary and Robert; grandson, Herman; 2 sisters, Carmel, and Clotilda; and 4 brothers, Cleo, Jean, Benoit,  Cyprien, and their spouses.

The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, on Monday, September 18th 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will take place at The Holy Family Catholic Church in Hanwell on Tuesday, September 19th 2017 at 2:00 PM with Father Monte Peters officiating.

For those who wish to remember Angella by way of a memorial contribution, the family suggests donating to the NB Heart and Stroke, Canadian Cancer Society or to a favorite charity of your choice.
