It is with great sadness that I announce the peaceful passing of my beloved wife and partner, Victoria (Vicki) Teresa Levy. Vicki passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the age of 55. Born in Windsor, NS, she was a daughter of Oren and Carmella Hazel.

Vicki worked as a Computer Operator with Supply and Services in Halifax, NS and in Risk Management with Marine Atlantic located also in Halifax for many years, however, her greatest joy was being a homemaker and being with her loving family. Vicki was a baseball enthusiast, loved bowling, thoroughly enjoyed her Cross Stitching, and found peace and solitude working in her many flower gardens. She loved the warm sand, sea and sun of the Caribbean.

Married August 28, 1993 in the Manning Memorial Chapel at Acadia University, her passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of her loving and devoted husband of 24 years, Padre Lt(N) Darryl Levy, daughter Heather Rebecca Levy and grandson Xander Sebastian Burton Levy. Vicki will be greatly missed by her parents Oren and Carmella Hazel of Scotch Village, NS and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Joan Levy of Mahone Bay, NS as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vicki was predeceased by her sister, Marlene Marie Hazel and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family will receive condolences at St. Luke’s Chapel, Champlain St., Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM followed by a service, celebrating the life of Vicki Levy, at the same location at 2:00 PM. Rev. Jack Barrett will officiate.

Special thanks to the nurses on 4NW and 3E at the DECH and the Oncology Staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

For those who wish to remember Vicki by way of a memorial contribution, the family suggests donating to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a favorite charity of your choice.
