Gloria Serena DesLaurier (Marks), beloved wife of the late Robert John Duncan DesLaurier, passed away peacefully at Hospice Fredericton on July 19, 2017. Born in Moncton, NB on April 29th, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Marks.
Gloria leaves behind her daughter Karen, son-in-law Blair, grandsons Chad and Tyler Furlotte. She is also survived by her sisters Dolores Rousseau, Trenton, ON, Juanita Dymond (Doug), Kelowna, BC, brother Gary Marks (Isabel), Stratford, ON, brother-in-law Earl DesLaurier, Qualicum Beach, BC, sister-in-law Irene Mayhew, Renfrew, ON and several special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda DesLaurier and sister Sylvia Marks.
Visitation will be held at Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Wesley United Church in Lincoln on Sunday, July 23rd at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brian MacDonald officiating.
