Paul H. Thériault has left this world for a better life on June 22, 2017. Born in Baie Sainte-Anne, he was the son of Edgar and Elmire (Gibbs).  He was married to Edith (Mazerolle) and they had three children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild:  Paula (Todd) and their children Taylor(Michael) along with their daughter Lilah Wood, Samantha, Sidney and Stéphanie; René (Stéphanie) and their children Jesse and Abigail; Sonia (Randy) and their children Émilie, Katie and Lisa.  He has rejoined one grandchild Mélanie Ward who died at birth.  Also, left to mourn him are his brothers and sisters that he loved so much:  Anne from Dieppe, Jeanne d’Arc Doucet from Miramichi, Marc (Gemma) and Marie-Paule (George) from Baie Sainte-Anne, Chantal (Thomas) Doucette from Moncton, Brigitte (Steven) Doucet from Baie Sainte-Anne and Serge (Sonia) from Moncton.

Two brothers: Roger that he loved dearly and Aurèle who died as an infant have welcomed him in Heaven. A much-loved brother-in-law also is part of his family in Heaven, Rodolphe Doucet.

Paul touched many lives during his journey.  He was known as a man of great compassion, generosity and wisdom.  He loved adventure and took full advantage of what life had to offer.  He was always seeking opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others.  He believed in inclusion for all and that the best gift a person can share in life is the gift of their own unique self.  Paul's proudest accomplishment and treasure in life is his family.

His body will be resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home on Woodstock Road.  Visitation will be on Monday June 26 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday June 27 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.  Funeral mass will take place at Église Sainte-Anne-des-Pays-Bas, 715 Priestman Street at 4:00 pm.  Interment will take place at Hermitage Cemetery, Woodstock Road.
