The passing of Eugene Francis Marion occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday June 11th, 2017 at the age of 82. Born in Rouyn-Noranda Quebec, he was a son of the late Herbert and Isabelle (Aird) Marion. Catholic by faith, Eugene worked for several years at the Nackawic Pulp and Paper Mill.
Survived by his partner Grace Adams, children Blair Young, Douglas Marion, Gilbert Young and Debbie Goodine, two sisters Faye Bubar (Don) of Quebec and Dwylla (Robert), several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Bertha Marion & one brother Terry Marion
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, where visitation will take place on Friday June 16th 2017 from 12 noon until 2 PM at which time a funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel officiated by Father Maria Arokiam. Interment will follow in the Hermitage Cemetery.
