It is with great sadness the family of Patricia "Pat" Seymour (Davidson) announces her unexpected passing on June 6th 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
She is survived by her son Larry (Ellen) and her daughter Susan and her beloved granddaughter Megan. In addition to her parents Joseph and Bertha (Palmer) Davidson, she was predeceased by her husband William "Bill" Adrian Seymour (Feb 13, 2017).
She is also survived by her siblings Calvin (Late Sandra) Davidson, Helen (Late Ronald) Thorburn, George Davidson, Linda (Bob) Freisen, Lois (David) MacIntosh, Lorna (Late Paul) Flanagan Nancy Green (Brian Emblenton) as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
She will be missed by her husband’s family, Rob, Louise, Warren, Janette Seymour and her best friend and sister in law Donna and Daryl Barr and her lifelong friend Jean Logan.
Pat began her career with the Bank of Montreal on Queen St. and then finished at the University campus. She then went on to take care of many children in her home which all held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed the week at the FREX each year while she worked at the craft exhibits as she socialized with many friends and family.
She enjoyed her time at the two camps in Taymouth and Doaktown as well as she and Dad enjoyed talking horses and going to the races.
Pat had an amazing bond with her beloved granddaughter Megan, where they spent many hours in the kitchen as she passed down her baking and cooking skills. Pat will be most remembered for her huge heart and love she gave to all she touched.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 8th 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM from Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB. A graveside service in memory of Pat and her late husband Bill will be held on Friday June 9th at 2 PM in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery Kingsley NB with Rev Wandlyn Snelgrove officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
