At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday May 1, 2017, Beti Linton of Fredericton passed away at the age of 86. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Flora (Russell) Timms.

Beti was a strong supporter of the AA. She was always willing to talk and help people in a time of need.

Beti is survived by one son Joey Mabie (Norma), granddaughter TJ (Mike) and grandson Timmy (Ashley). 2 great grand children Rylan and Hailee, a sister Peggy Rickard and brother Gerald "Sonny" Timms. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Frank Linton, son Terry Mabie, a sister Rena Dougherty and daughter-in-law Cheryl (Halsey) Mabie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 20, 2017 from 12- 2:30 PM at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:30 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Archdeacon John Sharpe officiating. Interment will be in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.

Memorials made to the Fredericton Homeless shelter would be appreciated by the family.
