At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday April 30, 2017, Erla Dawn Sloat of Fredericton passed away at the age of 77. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Whittie) Collett.

Erla was United by faith and retired for a number of years. She was a member of the Kinnette’s Club, the Burtt’s Corner Lioness and an avid Bingo player. Erla loved doing her Crossword Puzzles, watching Game Shows, but there was nothing quite like her favorite food, the Lobster Rolls at Deluxe.

She is survived by her children Linda (Doug) Deveaux and Jeff Sloat; grandson Brandon; brothers Dale Collett and Jack Collett (Violet); numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by a brother Donald (Sonny).

The family wishes you to join them in a celebration of her life on Thursday May 4, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road.  Private interment will be held at a later date.

Memorials made to the Intensive Care Unit at the DECRH would be appreciated by the family.
