The family and friends are mourning the loss of Keith Kingsley Maunder who passed on Sunday March 5th 2017.  Born July 1, 1947 to the late Doris (Chase) and Alan Maunder. He served in the Armed Forces and was posted to Germany, Chilliwack, Valcartier and Gagetown and was a member of the Legion, Branch 93, Oromocto. He spent most of his career trucking but in his recent years was self-employed in lawn care and the delivery's service. Keith enjoyed a good laugh and a long story, coffee and breakfast with friends who were always welcome. Some of his longest stories were of boating, biking and fishing with his uncle Billy.

Keith died of complications with his heart and diabetes, both of which he struggled with for over twenty years, some say he beat the odds.

He is survived by daughter Kim, sister Theresa (Reid), nephew Wade Haines and Wade's children Kaylee and Mitchel.

Special thanks to Drs. Gowan and Paulin, the caring nurses in the hospital and the Bayshore home workers.

Keith lived from cheque to cheque and died not owing a soul so he wishes that everyone who owed him make a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion on Thursday March 16 at 1:30 PM.

Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton (458-1885) have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences and the sharing of memories may be expressed through www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
