It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of William Harry Barrett of Fredericton NB, on Monday February 20th 2017 at Hospice House Fredericton. Billy was born April 27th, 1947 in Bath NB, the son of late Gordon and Francis (Hannat) Barrett.
Billy was self-employed and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Billy is survived by the love of his life and soulmate Charlotte (Kinney) Barrett, daughter Lisa Mebane, stepson Robert Woodman, grandchildren, Tanner Barrett (Ashley), Talia Barrett, Emma Woodman, twins Keira and Melissa Woodman, Hailey Woodman and Alex Woodman, great grandchildren, Liem and Layla Barrett. Brother Tim Barrett (Marlene), sisters Veronica Gurrier (Larry) and Jane Coughlan (Jack) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to thank, Dr. Karol, Dr. Patrick, Dr. Anan, Dr. Swan, Dr. Broad, the staff of the oncology dept. at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, EMN Fredericton, Dr. Gowan and all the kind and caring Drs., nurses and support staff at Hospice House Fredericton.
There will be no visitation or funeral at Billy’s request, a graveside prayer will be held at a later date for family and close friends at the Mineral Cemetery.
