It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Rowan announces her passing on January 4, 2017 at White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction, NB. Born on March 26, 1941 in Magaguadavic, NB, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Jennie Thomas.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jim Rowan of Lincoln, NB; daughters Sue Richards (Chuck), Cindy Campbell, Sandy Fitt (Rick), Wendy Cain (Kevin); 10 grandchildren Joe Richards, Sarah McLean, Josh Richards, Anthony Campbell, Jessica Campbell, Laura Cain, Michelle Cain, Samantha Cain, Tyler Cain and Steven Cain and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Eileen Parker (Clarence); 2 brothers Arthur Thomas (Helene) and John Thomas (Lorraine); 2 sisters-in-law Barb Rowan and Jean McKinnon and 1 brother-in-law ben Phillips; several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by a grandson Jamie Campbell; 2 sisters Evelyn McLean and Virginia Phillips; 3 brothers-in-law Bill Rowan, Colin McKinnon and Bill McLean.

As per her request there will be no formal service. A private family visitation will take place.  Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, NB have been entrusted with the arrangements. Interment will be held at a later date.
