It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family  of Jean Vivian Boyce announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at the age of 78. Born in Cails Mills, NB, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Margaret (Spencer) Dunlay.

Jean was an excellent cook. She enjoyed her family, especially times with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed visiting nature parks, coffee and drives with family and friends.

Jean was a loving mom to her two daughters Cathy Renouf (Terry) of Halifax, NS and Linda Biron (LeRoy) of Apohaqui, NB; four grandchildren Nick Renouf, Jamie Renouf, Tim Biron (Gina) and Julie Lajoie (Andrew); four great grandchildren Kacey, Kelsey, Kaylie Biron, Myley Lajoie; two sisters Annie Moore and Pearl Sears (Leslie) of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers Ralph and Burton Dunlay; two sisters Gertie Lawson and Obie Dunlay.

Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, NB with visitation on Friday from 5-8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held in the Douglas Rural Cemetery in Fredericton at a later date.
