It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Maria Victoria Lunar.  Maria Victoria to some, Victoria or Vicky to others was a beloved wife, friend, student and a wonderful person. She was a free spirit, always committed and passionate. Maria was born in Venezuela, moved to Brazil for 13 years and recently to Canada with her beloved dog Flicka. Leaving everything behind she decided to pursue her dream to be a Fashion Designer studying at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. Maria was one of those people who made everyone feel like an important and respected friend. 

We will be honoring Maria Victoria's life on Monday, November 28th at Bishop's Funeral Home on Woodstock Road in Fredericton, from 1pm until 3pm. Anyone who wish to pay their respects to Marcus Werneck, Maria's best friend and husband, and to sign her guest book is welcome.  A small non-denominational Buddhist service will follow from 3pm to 4:30pm. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a Scholarship fund that will be used at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, you may contribute directly at her service,or directly through the New Brunswick Community College Foundation/Maria Victoria Lunar .  This scholarship will benefit an incoming International student.  Please note there will be incense burnt in offering during this service.
