Roy Alexander McMullen, 49, of Fredericton, New Brunswick, died September 15, 2016 after a short and sudden illness.
He was born on November 29, 1966 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Son of James Roy and Hillarion (Hilly) McMullen.
He leaves his NB family and friends of the past 22 years; Kirk and Karen Nevers, their sons Cody and Matthew Nevers, with whom he resided for much of his NB years, Bonnie Cameron, Susan and Irene Clark, Amy Parsons and Anna, Jennifer Lawrence (Nevers) and Aiden, Chris and Miriam Chapman, Monica Christie, Drake and Devin Connor, Eric Stewart and Katie Messer and their children, Shawn Connors, Hilda Adams, Alyssa Ward and Kenny Ward. He also leaves behind many more friends in NB, Alberta, and NS, of which there are too many to name.
As a professional driver in these 3 provinces, he had many good friends and was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. He was helpful, opened his heart to many, and will be sorely missed.
We invite you to a memorial for Roy, to be held at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, NB on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 at 4:00 pm. As per Roy’s wishes, it will be a quiet and casual celebration of his life.
