At his home on September 26, 2016 Elliott Bridges of Douglas passed away unexpectedly at the age of 81.  Born in Gordonsville, NB, he was a son of the late Ronald and Janet (Elliott) Bridges. He spent the majority of his working life with various companies as a Stationary Engineer. Elliott was an active member of ACTRA Trail riding Association and the NB Equestrian Association.

He is survived by a daughter Ann Bridges (Steve) of Yoho Lake, NB; several nieces, nephews & cousins. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife Jean, a son Frederick and two brothers Robert and Edward.

There will be no visitation or funeral service, at Elliott’s request.   A family graveside service for Elliott and Jean will be held at a later date. As an alternative to flowers, memorial donations to the Christmas Mommies in Harvey or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
