At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday September 21st 2016 Jean Elizabeth Bridges of Douglas passed away at the age of 75. Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late Israel and Thelma (Pollock) Goodine. Jean was an active member of ACTRA Trail riding Association and the NB Equestrian Association. She also volunteered at Changes.
She is survived by her husband Elliott; a daughter Ann Bridges (Steve) of Yoho Lake, NB; a sister Louise Seymour (Robin) of Upper Kingsclear, NB; several nieces, nephews & cousins. Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by a son Frederick.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Sunday September 25th from 2-4 PM. There will be no funeral service, at Jean’s request.
As an alternative to flowers, memorial donations to the Christmas Mommies in Harvey or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
