With sad hearts the family of Ina Mildred Coy, beloved wife of Lester Coy, announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, August 29, 2016. Born August 7, 1933 in Trenton, NS, Ina was a daughter of the late David A. and Arvena D. (Feltmate) Anderson. Ina taught school for a number of years before she married the love of her life Lester Coy and they recently celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on June 27th of this year. They were devoted to each other and their family. Ina loved the Lord with all her heart and was a faithful and dedicated member of Capital Community Church in Fredericton and also attended the Noonan First United Pentecostal Church where her son-in-law is Pastor. She was always actively involved in church over the years from being the church Secretary Treasurer and a much loved and well-respected Sunday School Teacher.

Ina’s life centered around her family and she loved each one dearly and her passing has left a great void in their lives especially for her husband Lester of Hanwell. Her children will arise and call her blessed and they brought her so much joy. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her much loved daughter, Diana Arseneault and her husband Rev. Bruce Arseneault of Fredericton; also two much loved sons, David (Susan) of Richibucto Road and Gregory (Krista) of Hanwell. Ina was always proud to say her children are serving the Lord and were in church. She was the best "Nanny" ever to Melissa Cooper, Sarah Hiltz (Josh), Jessica Wilkins, Rebecca Arseneault (Jacques), Benjamin Coy (Vicki), Nelson Coy (Giselle) and Elliot Coy. She also leaves 10 great-grandchildren; a brother George Anderson (Shirley) of B.C. as well as sisters-in-law, Ruth, Kathleen and Vivian Anderson all of NS.

Aside from her parents, Ina was predeceased by sisters Sylvia Wamback (late Garnet), Helen Thomson (late Thomas) and Lois Roberts (late Ken) as well as brothers, Olsen, Wilbert and Merlin Anderson.

A service of remembrance and celebration of Ina Coy’s life will be held from Capital Community Church, 71 Downing St., Fredericton on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jack Leaman will officiate.  A reception will immediately follow the service with interment in the Burtt’s Corner Community Cemetery at 2:00 PM. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

For those who wish to remember Ina by way of a memorial contribution, the family has suggested donating to H.O.M.E. Guatemala International Children’s Orphanage (c/o Capital Community Church) or to a favorite charity of your choice.
