The death of Byron Michael Paul Sr, 62, occurred peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was the son of the late Daniel and Bernadine Paul.

He leaves behind his partner of seventeen years, Faye Atwin; his children Byron Paul Jr. (Claudine), Tawnya Paul (Eddie) and two step-daughters, Amanda Ginnish and Lindsay Polchies (Edward). Six grandchildren Little Eddie, Tanner, Thunder, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Faith; sisters Gloria (Earl), Cathy (Gene); brothers Danny (Bernie), Stanley (Maggie), Martin (Pauline) and Adam; several nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces and his godchildren. Aside from his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers Leslie and Phillip, also a sister Yvonne. 

Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, where visitation will be held on Friday August 19, 2016 from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11AM from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel with Father Monte Peters officiating. Cremation to follow, with interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Fredericton Hemodialysis Unit at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Pallbearers for the service will be Nicholas Paul, Leonard Lewey, Bernie Holmes, Dennis Clark and Malcolm Paul.
