It is with great sadness that the family of Roberta A. McCoy announces her passing peacefully at home on August 1, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Roberta was the only child of the late Roy W. Reed and Merle R. Reed (Ross).  She leaves behind her precious husband and love of her life of 60 years Edward A. McCoy and was the cherished mother to Susan Cochrane (Robert), Laurie McCoy (Tara), Gina Schmidt (Mark), Roger McCoy and Lisa Horsman. 

Grandmother to her precious grandchildren that all held a special place in her heart:  Kelly Johnson (Greg), Julie Halscott (Torre), Elizabeth Swanson (Peter), Matthew McCoy (Kristen) Shawn Cochrane, Mercedes Brawn, Holly Horsman and Dylan Horsman.

Great Grandmother to Jude Halscott, Remy Halscott, Drew Swanson, Deegan Cochrane, Samuel Johnson, Emily Swanson, Wesley McCoy and Aryia Horsman.

Roberta was predeceased by her father and mother as well as an infant daughter Sonia Heather.

Roberta was a faithful member of the Sunset Church family for over 36 years and considered them an extension of her family.

Resting at Sunset Church, 429 Clements Drive on Wednesday August 3, 2016 visitation from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM. A celebration of her life will be held at Sunset Church on Thursday August 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Joe Beesley officiating.Reception to be held immediately following the service in the community room at Sunset Church.
