It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret Ann Libby of Fredericton on Monday May 23 2016 at Hospice House Fredericton. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Arnold; son Brent Libby (Lydia) of Upper Kingsclear; daughters Andrea Libby (Stephen) of Durham and Debbie Dow (Beverly) of Noonan; grandsons David Dow, Derek Libby (Tiffany), and Lucas Libby (Elaine); great granddaughter Abigail Libby; sister Isabelle Hume and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was an active member of Greenwood Drive Baptist Church where she could be found every Wednesday morning helping out in the Clothing Bank. Besides being active in the church, she also found great enjoyment in travelling with Arnold to various Lodge activities which took them to Arizona and Florida. In earlier years she and Arnold were members of the Barkers Point Square Dance Club.
The family will welcome visitors on Wednesday May 25th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton. A service celebrating Margaret’s life will be held on Thursday May 26th at 11 AM from the Greenwood Drive Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating.
A private interment will be held with the immediate family at the Seymour Cemetery, Kingsley, NB following the service.
