Barbara Jean (Lovely) Green, age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 19th 2016, while surrounded by loved ones at Hospice House Fredericton, after a courageous battle with cancer. Barb was born in Perth, NB on November 23, 1938.
Barb had a tremendous zest for life and a laugh that would brighten everyone’s day. She loved her family beyond measure and her cooking skills were renowned. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by longtime companion Walter, 4 sons, Jack (Lori), Robert (Cheryl), Jeff (Nanzi), Justin (Shelley); 7 grandchildren, Jacob, Meagan, Jackson, Alyssa, Logan, Vanessa and Josie; 1 great-grandchild, Bosten; 3 sisters, Mary, Charlotte (Fred) and Joyce. She is predeceased by her father Hubert, mother Patricia, sister Ann and brother Bill.
There will be no visitation or funeral service as per Barbara’s wishes. A private memorial will be held at a later date for immediate family members. The family wished to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness. Donations can be made to Hospice House Fredericton in memory of her.
