The passing of Earle Edgar Harrison of Lincoln, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 22, 2015. He was 83. Born December 11, 1931 in Stanley, NB, he was the son of the late Harold Alexander and Dorothy Hilda (Scott) Harrison. Earle was Roman Catholic by faith. He was employed with the NB Dept. of Transportation as a Heavy Equipment Operator and retired in 1992 after 29 years with the province.

Earle loved music and was a gifted musician. He always enjoyed playing the guitar at dances. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed walking, biking, skating or working in his vegetable garden. He would often enter produce for his garden in the Fredericton Exhibition and always brought home a winning ribbon.

Earle is survived by his wife, Noreen (Godin) Harrison (nee Ramsay); a son Donald Earle Harrison (Alisa) of Royal Road; four daughters, Deborah Ann Blauvelt (Frank) of Yarmouth, NS, Darlene Marie Stanley (Steven) of Darling’s Island, NB, Donna Helen Shelley (David) of Yarmouth, NS and Kelley Lynn Norrad (Bing) of Sudbury, ON; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; a sister, Velma Kelly (Harold) of Fredericton; a step-son Joseph Godin (Anne) of Victoria, BC; a step-daughter Leda Pennock (Bill) of Fredericton and 4 step-grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren. Earle is also survived by the mother of his children, Shirley (Sanson) Harrison.

Although there will be no public visitation, relatives and friends are invited to join the family at a Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, Oromocto on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Father Bill Brennan officiating. Interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.  The pallbearers will be family members. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Fredericton Food Bank or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
